“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
One of the most common obstacles regarding our intentions and its manifestations is the belief that the object or situation desired is out of our possibilities. That for whatever reason is just not possible to reach such outcome out of our current position.
And to some extent this is true. There is no way we could manifest a given intention or wanting if our current belief is aligned with hopelessness or with any other negative emotional state.
At first sight might seem like the chicken and the egg dilemma: I have to acknowledge the feasibility of a possibility in order for it to actually become possible, but I am unable to acknowledge the likelihood of the possible future events until I see physical evidence of it.
But the truth is not that gloomy.
Nothing Is Out Of Limit
First of all, the conception of an intention implies by itself the possibility of its manifestation. There is no one thing in our physical reality that could be intended and not manifested. In other words, if you can imagine it, you can create it. So, let’s start by understanding that there is nothing out of limit.
Content Profiling
The fact that you cannot see the way does not mean there is no way.
We human beings are terrible at content profiling. Our capacity to organize and categorize all the content in our reality in order to come out with an accurate likely outcome is pretty small.
So when “all” the physical evidence around us indicates that our intention is not possible, we are actually basing this prediction in a very small portion of the actual physical evidence at our disposal and our prediction is always wrong, yet we often take it as gospel.
To conclude, we cannot have a healthy life because the current physical evidence that defines our reality is full of events rooted in scarcity is like when the humans believed the earth was flat because the physical evidence at their disposal indicated that this was the truth.
Allow Yourself To Be Surprised
In the same line of thought of the above, we cannot rule out an intention just because we cannot foresee the way such might became reality.
It’s better then to focus our efforts in defining clearly the reason why we hold such intention, than to try figuring out the ways the intention might manifest. This is not our job anyway and the universe or however you want to call it (God, Source, destiny, etc.) is way better in this department. So chill out with the “how” and allow yourself to be surprised. (For more about the “how” and the “why” see “5 Ways to Raise Your Emotional Vibration“)
Be Truly Realistic
Often when we come out with an important intention, almost immediately we start to point out all the reason why such intention is just not possible. The list of reason can get quite long and creative. We have to be realistic, is a common phrase in these cases. But nothing great has ever been achieved by being realistic and even if you stick to such advice, being truly realistic means acknowledging your power and capacity to create everything you desire.

Great posting. We need to remember their are no guarantees, but that should not stop us from trying.
Excellent thoughts, most of us are capable of so much more than we believe.

Couldn’t agree more. Sometimes we have to change our way of looking at life to allow ourselves to move forward. There is so much out there that we in our humanness, in our daily routines, that we don’t see. If we can be open to all possibilities as you suggest, the sky is the limit. Thank you for a wonderful blog..

Every thought, even prior to its manifestation, is an entity interacting inside the cosmos. An infinitesimal thread of Fate’s Loom. In vain we strive to comprehend the pattern weaved for us…seeking the unit instead of the unity.
Thank you for your insight. Wishes for the new year.
We are what we think of all day. Thank you for this, I really feel that it is important to use our imagination to create opportunities for ourselves.
Thank you for your thoughts Ross!
