How to raise your emotional vibration is one of the most debated topics when dealing with the law of attraction. A common frustrations about the law of attraction is that in order to successfully manifest your intentions, your emotional vibration must match such intentions. This simply means that the vibration you hold for most of the time must be equal the vibration you would hold if your intentions were already manifested.
When your intentions and your current emotional vibration are a match, the physical manifestation has to materialize in physical reality. Cannot be other way, it is law.
The problem is that most people focus in the absence of their intentions, and by focusing on the absence, their emotional vibration swings to negative feelings, which turns impossible the materialization of the intentions, creating more absence and a negative loop or pattern of thinking. Finally, they conclude the law of attraction has to be a scam.
How to Raise Your Emotional Vibration
So, the next time you wonder how to raise your emotional vibration, keep in following in mind:
- Realize that your intentions are already real: The fact that your intentions has not shown in physical reality does not mean it does not exist. Our physical senses can only guide us to a certain extend and there is much about reality that escape our sight or hearing. We must understand our intentions are already fulfilled and the only thing that has prevented their physical representation is our emotional vibration. You and only you have the power to allow the change and this is a capability no one can take away from you. There is nothing between you and your intentions, but the vibration you hold at this precise moment.
- Selective focus: A common complaint is that we cannot focus on the outcome of our intentions when such outcome is contrary to our present circumstances. In other words, we cannot focus on wealth when we are forced by everyday life to be focused on scarcity (paying bills, work every day to exhaustion, etc.). First of all, this is not true, we can focus on wealth, even in the face of scarcity but it sure requires a lot of mastery. The good news is that our emotional vibration is not subject to a particular aspect of our life or the emotional vibration we hold doesn’t have to be connected with our intentions. What this means is that even when our main intention is to create a life of wealth while our current situation is scarcity, we can raise our emotional vibration by focusing on any other positive aspect of our life. What matters then is not to focus on wealth, but to be able to ignore scarcity and focus on any other current positive aspect. It doesn’t matter how small or unrelated it might seem, whatever that allows you to tap into positive feelings is allowing you to manifest your intentions.
- Low expectations: You might have noted situations when you held the lowest expectations about a particular situation and the outcome turned out to be amazingly positive. At first sight this might seem contrary to what the law of attraction states, but actually makes total sense: When we hold high expectations about a particular situation we tend to slip into fear or anxiety, disrupting our emotional vibration and therefore making impossible to generate a positive outcome. When we find ourselves unable to overcome negative feelings associated with a particular outcome, it can be highly beneficial to lower our expectations and this way getting rid of fear, anxiety or any other associated negative feelings (see Hacking the Negative Mind).
- Forget the “How”: We tend to get obsessed about how could we achieve our goals (i.e. Manifest our intentions) and when we are unable to find an immediate viable answer we get frustrated. Without a doubt this has been a great source of negative feeling for me and it turns out to be very common. But the truth is that “how” to achieve our goals is not really that important. Of course we need a course of action, but this can vary greatly from person to person and from situation to situation, so to focus about what have worked for other people or how others have been able to achieve a particular outcome must serve us only as a guide to improve and never as an excuse for inaction.
- Focus on the “Why”: Following the previous point, instead to focus on the “how”, especially when the how becomes an excuse to be victimized (I am not rich enough, I am not pretty enough, I am not smart enough, etc.), focus on the reasons why you want to achieve certain goals and allow such reasons to influence your emotional vibration. If the reasons to pursue whatever you want to pursue are born out of purpose, curiosity or anything else but a negative feeling, your emotional vibration will swing to a positive state almost immediately. If happens any other way, then maybe it would be good to analyze if the reasons why you wish to pursue that particular goal are not because you feel passionate about it, but because you believe it will mean stability (fear of change) or it might be your best bet (feeling inadequate to shoot for something better) or any other not–so-positive hidden reason.
Raising our emotional vibration it can be a hard task when we have got used to live in a negative state, but it is a very rewarding endeavor and critical if we wish to manifest our intentions successfully.
